BitterEnd refers to the end of a line (never a rope) that is secured to a (towing) bitt. The working end of a line is referred to as the Standing End.
BitterEnd Logo: The aquamarine octopus on a dark blue ground symbolizes the Salish Sea, BitterEnd's stomping grounds. Enteroctopus dolfleini, the giant Pacific octopus, is indigenous to local waters and is the largest octopus on the planet. One is always lurking somewhere below the surface.

LOL! That beats the crap out of Tango Uniform. Booze and two dances must be about the most fun you can have in three letters of the International Phonetic Alphabet. And it's a useful, profane phrase. Tres cool. If I wasn't terribly lazy, I'd search for abbreviations who's phonetic translations were even more amusing or apropos.
From UW FHL, I saw Remedy leaving Friday Harbor twice today. Looks like you had a late night in Anacortes yesterday, so I hope the haul to Seattle wasn't painful.
