This 28' Bayliner had left Seattle this morning not knowing how much fuel was aboard. She ran out of fuel in the Strait of Juan de Fuca earlier and a Good Sam happened upon her with fuel. I delivered 10 gallons to her in San Juan Channel less than two miles from her destination. Additionally the owner could not figure out his GPS to give me a fix.

BAY "LINER" need I say more - - -
Cheap shot Chucky !!
Pompous azz types don't offer much but sarcasim ...
Anon, referring to my Bay "Liner" quote, I would hardly call that a "Cheap shot". Let me direct you to the July 3 post "Adrift 2.0, in which I took a couple of truly "cheap shots" at the unfortunate boater who's Bayliner "Trophy" had drifted away. To my surprise, (see post "Email from Vessel Adrift Strand" of July 7), same boater had actually read his micro second of fame post on BitterEnd and even made a direct quote from one of my sarcastic "Cheap Shots". Humbled, I made (non sarcastic) note of his ability to take his shots with class and go on. You may also find that I have often directed much sarcasm back on myself. My comments may be sometimes slightly miss directed and are NOT made from a "pompous" attitude, but from having probably made many if not all of the mistakes cited on this blog and trying to find a little humor in it. Lastly - pompous, sarcastic, humorous or helpful I sign um - so you know exactly where they came from and I'll take my lumps - no harm - no foul
